USA

Some people think that the Highneck chopper is something that was invented recently. But actually the Highneck is as much a part of vintage American chopper history as for instance the Frisco style. The short forked Frisco bikes were meant to race through town, after a while longbikes became popular, bikes great for long trips but not so handy in town. The highneck was the solution to that problem. You could have an overstock frontend, a radically stretched frame but still be able to race through town and it was and is a great roadtrip bike too!
