Chopper history

The so-called Highneck ( a term that was thought up by the Europeans not by the Americans) chopper is the true descendant of the Frisco chopper. When Frisco Chops disappeared from the streets, longbikes came into fashion. Those raked longbikes where okay for long distance but less practicle within city limits. Especially clubguys who wanted a long forked bike but wanted to race in town as well started building Highnecks like this one on photo. Our American friends of the Outsiders, Brother Speed and Gypsy Jokers all rode and still ride Highnecks. It was Jesse James who later took this particular style and gave it a modern character. We love those kinda bikes because of this history, they are the ultimate clubchoppers of today!
