Mike Rabideau, Wisconsin

There are still a lot of professional chopper builders around. Not all are good and some really stick out above the crowd. We were glad to stumble onto the work of Mike Rabideau, from Racine, Wisconsin.  This is one of his best know bikes. We love it that this man used a 45 flathead frame for this Shovelhead. But there is a lot of other neat stuff too, like the unusual (for this particular type of bike) handmade gastank and the fact that the cast-iron pieces are chromed or knickeled. Check it out.

I have been working for biker magazines for most of my life. I am currently making a two percenter choppers-only yearbook myself called, CHOP, RIDE & PARTY. Check it out, previews are on facebook. The CRP yearbook will come out soon.
