Rogues MC 40 years – History part IX

Our 17th anniversary was held in August 1996. The invitation poster for that year, on A1 size, contained a photo of my wedding from the year before, in 1995. Next year my wife and I will celebrate our 25th anniversary at the clubhouse, but that’s something for next year.

Today I will talk a bit about 1996. In that year my best friend Beer became ‘daddy’ of his oldest daughter Kim. Nowadays they both are the authors of the annual yearbook CRP.

In those years we also organised silly games such as sliding with a hood from a auto-car. Those who have seen it or by any change actual have done it, know what I’m talking about. Such a game guaranteed lots of laughter and fun for the bystanders such as myself.

Anyway, those who were a bit afraid, a bit of booze could solve most of the anxieties. But it definitely didn’t improve the control over your ‘stability’ but for us ‘viewers’ it made it more and more spectacular to look at.

A few weeks ago I showed a photo of a guy in a wheelbarrow, totally wasted, at the Hydet Party in 1985. Well, at our parties it ain’t much different either. Ecke, a ex-member, had reached that stage in 1996 as well. We borrowed some red lipstick from one of the girls and ‘painted’ his face like a clini-clown, while he was still sleeping. Well, you all get the picture……. LOL

Of course also a stripact, some bands and other games and Skull with his tattoo-gear.

Skull behind the bar.

Schweick and ex-member Cancer behind the bar. Next to Schweik, alslo a ex-member, Marcel aka Maup.
