Last Friday we commemorated Big Jos. Sadly he died four years ago. Yesterday four years ago was his funeral. Due to Corona restrictions these past few years just about almost everything has been going a bit, or even a lot, different.
And of course, at our clubhouse it’s the same as written above. That doesn’t mean we didn’t raise a toast on Big Jos, on the contrary, but without ‘outsiders’.
We all remember Big Jos as a person with two right hands. What his eyes saw, his hands could make. But these same hands weren’t too afraid to throw a few punches if it turned out to be necessary.
Big Jos also build his own boat. The photo below shows Big Jos in 2006 standing on top of his Boat in his ‘better days’.
