29th RMC Choppershow

In less than a month it is ‘finally’ time again for our, now 29th, chopper show to take place. After two years of silence, it is also a relief for us that we can go ‘big’ again. Despite all the ‘misery’ around us, we are also ready for a cozy and relaxed chopper show and to meet you all in person again.

A few weeks ago I reported that many corona rules would be relaxed by our government. Since yesterday, almost all rules have expired. This means that there is no need to show a corona app, vaccination certificate or negative test. The only restriction that remains is that if you are sick because of a corona infection, you stay at home until you are better. But that speaks for itself, I think. We hope to be able to welcome you under good conditions on Easter Sunday 17 April, during our 29th RMC Choppershow in ‘De Weyver’ in Opmeer.

But before we get to that point, for us there’s only one thing left to do. As you have heard by now, our brother Francis passed away last Thursday. Tomorrow we will accompany him to the crematorium in Almere, where the final farewell on this earth will take place.

As you will understand, this event just before our show casts a shadow over it. We would also have liked to have had Francis with us longer, but it was not to be.

Remains to say; “ride safe and stay healty!”

Brass, RMCF
