Panhead Chopper

At home I have a lot of old magazines and also some old calendars. De photo below was printed in the 1984 Easyriders calender. It’s a very nice looking Panhead, the girl as well by the way. The Panhead was the successor of the Knucklehead. The production of Knuckleheads ended in 1947 and the production of Panheads started in 1948. In 61ci and 74ci. The first year of production they were mounted with springer forks and a year later, in 1949, they introduced the hydraulic forks on their Panheads. The Hydro-Glides.
